Stan McCoy ('51)

Stan McCoy played both football and baseball. On the gridiron, he played running back and was named a co-winner of the Carr Trophy (team Most Valuable Player) as a senior for rushing for 705 yards. The 7.6 yards per carry McCoy had that season ranked 17th in the NAIA. On the baseball diamond, he hit over a .400 clip in each of his two seasons. McCoy went on to coach football at the high school level for nearly two decades. He's a member of the Ohio High School Football Coaches Hall of Fame and the National Football College Hall of Fame.
