Dan Simpson was, at the time of his graduation, 1-of-2 individuals to garner All-American status. A career 1,000-point scorer, he led the Fightin' Quakers in scoring in his final three seasons. Additionally, in a contest against Mountain State as a senior, Simpson scored a then-program best 46 points. He averaged 27.6 points per game in his final season wearing a Quaker uniform.
