Russ Miller ('66)
Russ Miller, a 1966 Wilmington College graduate, served as an athletic trainer for all sports as a student and was hired as the College's first full-time athletic trainer after graduation. After one year, he went to DePauw University as an athletic trainer and then moved on to Western Kentucky University after earning as master's degree at Indiana University. A stint at Western Kentucky University followed, and then Miller got a call from Bo Schembechler to the University of Michigan. He was there for a dozen years before concluding his professional career with the Detroit Tigers.
