Leroy Berry
Berry, who earned a degree in recreation, played for Head Coach John Ferguson from 1978-80. A two-time First Team All-District and First Team All-Hoosier-Buckeye Conference selection as both a junior and a senior, Berry scored 1,090 points in three seasons and is one of 28 Fightin' Quakers to score 1,000 points in a career. His best statistical season came during the 1979-80 campaign where Berry scored 582 total points for an average of 20.7 per game. A Third Team All-American at the junior college level at Allegheny Community College in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, Berry was drafted in the seventh round of the 1980 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers. He played one season of professional basketball in Finland before moving to Philadelphia and working as a supervisor for the city's recreation department.
