(WESTERVILLE, Ohio) – The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) announced their spring Academic All-OAC athletes this morning and Wilmington College had 30 athletes honored.
The team with the most honorees was the Quakers baseball team with 12, followed by the softball team and women's track & field team with six, while men's track & field and men's lacrosse had three each.
Third time honorees from the Quakers baseball team are seniors
Trent Mendenhall and
Kyle Jennings. Second time honorees were juniors
Max Gildea,
JP Donelan, and
Eli Hollingsworth. Earning the honor for the first time in their career were sophomores
Eli Alexander,
Nathan Schnell,
Liam Denehy,
Logan Frigyes,
Ethan Bunce, and
Xavier McDougle along with senior
Brent Case.
Earning the second honors of their careers from softball were seniors
Alasandra Spears,
Maddie Starnes, and
Belle Baughman along with junior
Ashley Jo Hardesty. Being named for the first time as Quakers were sophomore
Alaina Eldridge and
Addysen Stevens.
