(WESTERVILLE, Ohio) – The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) announced their 2025 Baseball All-OAC Teams and Special Award Winners this morning and the Quakers had two players named Honorable Mentions.
These players were
J.C. Calhoun as an Outfielder and
Dominic Depa as a Second Baseman, and it is the first time that either of them has earned All-OAC honors in their Wilmington career.
Both these players led the Quakers in a variety of different categories this season. Calhoun led the team with a .322 batting average, while Depa was second at .299. Calhoun had 39 hits to lead the team and Depa followed with 38. Depa led Wilmington with 14 doubles, which tied for third in the conference and Calhoun was third on the team with seven doubles.
Calhoun led the Quakers with two triples and Depa was tied for second with one this season. Depa had a team high three homeruns and 24 runs batted in (RBI). Calhoun tied for ninth in the OAC, going a perfect 16-16 on stolen base attempts. Depa led the team with a .496 slugging percentage and Calhoun was second at .413, and Depa had a .419 on base percentage while Calhoun was third at .406. Depa also had a team high 28 runs scored and 21 walks.
