(WILMINGTON, Ohio) - Senior forward Alex Wilson was selected as the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the second straight week this afternoon. It is the fourth time Wilson has earned this honor in her career and the second of the season.
In Wilmington's only match, the senior recorded her second career hat trick in the Quakers conference opening win against Heidelberg University. Her third goal came in the 89th minute to secure Wilmington's 3-2 victory. The win improved the Quakers win streak to four. Wilson's last hat trick came in her freshman season in 2022 against the University of Mount Union.
Wilson has scored at least one goal in five straight games. She leads Wilmington with eight goals, 17 points, 44 shots, and 22 shots on goal. Her five game winning goals also leads the Quakers.
The Quakers host Muskingum University in their second conference match on Wednesday at 7:00 P.M.
