(ALLIANCE, Ohio) – The Wilmington College women's soccer team won their sixth straight game Saturday afternoon, with a 3-1win over the University of Mount Union Purple Raiders on the road.
This is their fourth straight win over Mount Union as they improve their overall record to 8-3-2 and are now 3-0 in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC).
The Purple Raiders scored in the second minute of the contest for a 1-0 lead.
Emily Stall and the Quakers answered in the 13th minute with a goal of their own for a 1-1 tie. Sophomore
Gracie King sent a free kick into the box from about midfield and senior
Alex Wilson took a left footed shot that was saved by the keeper. Off the deflection, Stall came in and ripped one past the keeper for the equalizer.
12 minutes later, King sent another free kick in from midfield that went off Stall's foot to Wilson, who made a few moves to work around the keeper and send a strike into the back of the net for a 2-1 lead that would hold at halftime.
Early in the second half in the 48th minute, Wilmington scored their third goal of the day. Senior

MJ Little right around the 10-yard line, where she sent a low rocket that skipped past the keeper for the 3-1 lead.
Emma Storck made three more saves throughout the second half to preserve the Quakers victory.
