(WILMINGTON, Ohio) - Senior forward
Alex Wilson was selected as the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the third straight week this afternoon. It is the fifth time Wilson has earned this honor in her career.
To start the week off against Muskingum University at home in Williams Stadium, Wilson scored in the 33rd minute of a Quakers 4-1 victory. She used a pass from freshman
Delaney Benjamin to work her way inside the box and around Muskies defenders before sending a strike past the keeper.
She used an
Emily Stall pass against Mount Union to pick up her 10th goal of the season, while also recording an assist against the Purple Raiders. Wilson leads the OAC in goals (10), points (22), shots (51), shots on goal (28), and game-winning goals (6).
Wilson and the Quakers are on the road Wednesday night against the Otterbein University Cardinals at 7:00 P.M.Â
