Brady Vilvens grabs a win in the triple jump at the Joe Banks Invitational in Ada, Ohio on Friday.
Durr wins the weight throw by .48m over teammate
Justin Shuga, both being the only two throwers at Ada to clear 18m.
The Quakers had
Gustav Jonsson finish in the top 5 to give Wilmington over half of the top 5.
Brandon Mitchell's seventh place performance and
Mike Soltis's ninth place performance gave the Quakers half of the top 10 positions.
Vilvens' 13.02m mark in the triple jump gave him a .81m win over Nathan Carnevale from Ohio Northern.
Other top finishers for the Quakers include
Keegan Kidd finishing second in the 1000m (2:40.01), the 800m Relay team of
De'Anta Sanon,
Brendan Bornemann,
Jase Edmonson and
Logan Kent finishing second at 1:34.41, Sanon finishing third in the 400m (51.88), and Shuga nabbing third in the shot put with a mark of 14.20m.
The Quakers will have a contingent at the Wittenberg Steemer Showcase tomorrow in Springfield, Ohio.
