PERSONAL: Michael "Mike" Soltis was born July 13, 2004...the son of Mike and Monique Soltis...four-year letterwinner for Head Coach Greg Cicero at Cardinal High School...two-time state qualifier in both the shot put and weight throw...three-time All-Conference and two-time All-District selection...also member of the football team.

Freshman Season (2022-23):

Appeared in 12 meets for the Quakers, competing in the shot put, discus throw, hammer throw, and weight throw…Recorded collegiate bests in the shot put (15.12m), discus (34.19m), and hammer (32.00m)…Won one event in the shot put and recorded seven Top-5 finishes.

Sophomore Season (2023-24):

Appeared in 12 meets for the Quakers…Competed in the Shot Put, Weight Throw, and Discus Throw…Set new career bests in the Weight Throw (12.64m) and the Discus Throw (35.95m)…Won one Outdoor Shot Put competition at the Landon Bond Classic…Finished second at one Indoor Shot Put competition and third at one Indoor Shot Put competition…Named Academic All-OAC.

Junior Season (2024-25):

Appeared in 13 total meets for the Quakers…Competed in the Shot Put, Weight Throw, and Discus Throw…Finished second in the Shot Put at the Maryville Scots Invitational…Set a new career best in the Weight Throw at 12.72m…Named Academic All-OAC.
