(CINCINNATI, Ohio) - Noah Tobin continues his winning ways, taking the 1500m and 3000m races for the Quakers, as
Gabe Moore gets his second collegiate win in the same event at the same venue 364 days ago in the 5000m, leading the Quakers to a second place finish at the Mount St. Joseph January Invite on Saturday.
Moore won the 5000m with a time of 16:08 and Tobin swept the 3000m and 1500m with winning times of 8:56 and 4:23.
Wins were abound in the field events, specifically in throwing events, where
Jarrett Durr won the weight throw with a distance of 18.87m. The top three finishers in the weight throw were all from Wilmington, as
Nathen Borgan and
Justin Shuga took those positions with throws of 18.16m and 17.30m respectively. Shuga also took fourth in the Shot with a throw of 14.24m.
Brady Vilvens, the 2023 Division III National Champion in High Jump and a two-time All-American, wins again in the High Jump, winning at 1.93m, clearing a bar roughly 6-feet, 4-inches off the ground.
Tate Yoder led a winning distance medley relay with
Donovan Mosley,
Keegan Kidd and Tobin, and finished third in the 1500m and 3000m races.
The Men's 1600m relay team of Mosley,
Logan Kent,
Brendan Bornemann and
De'Anta Sanon took second with a time of 3:41.29.
