WILMINGTON, Ohio - Miami University-Hamilton used three big middle innings to defeat the Wilmington College baseball team 13-4 in the Fightin' Quakers' final non-conference contest of the season on Wednesday.

Similar to his last outing, Wilmington starter Michael Weisenberger allowed just one hit and no runs through three innings, but the fourth inning proved much different. The sophomore allowed the first seven baserunners, including five via base hits, to reach base. Thomas Hueber relieved him with two runners on and a 5-0 deficit. The Harriers would score two more runs on Hueber to close out a seven-running inning and tack on four more runs on two home runs in the top of the fifth.

Trailing 11-0, the Quakers plated three runs on three hits including an RBI-single from Nick Silvis along with a Herrier error. The visitors would get two of those runs back on three hits in the sixth, but Wilmington once again put together a scoring inning as Antonio Miller singled home Marko Salajcik in the bottom of the inning. With the score 13-4 and the bases loaded, a flyout ended the threat.

That run proved to be the final scored in the game as both pitching staffs didn't allow a run over the final three innings.

Weisenberger dipped to 0-4 with the loss allowing six earned runs in 3.1 innings pitched. Cameron Harbert, Matt Oney and Adam Doerger all pitched effectively in relief for Wilmington.

Rollie Sheriff got the win with his quality start of three earned runs allowed in six innings pitched.

Offensively, Miller finished 3-for-5 with two RBIs and two stolen bases. Mason Walker, who also stole a base, had a multi-hit game as well.

Daulton Miller led Miami-Hamilton with a three-hit game while Spencer Henn and Thomas Allan both hit home runs.

Wilmington (7-28) hosts Ohio Northern University in the 2019 season finale on Saturday. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
