(WILMINGTON, Ohio) – Senior goalkeeper Joe Meilstrup was named OAC Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 14. It is the first time Meilstrup has earned the honor in his career.

Making his first career start in goal, Meilstrup recorded a clean sheet and made two saves across 90 minutes to help lead the Quakers to a 3-0 victory over Mount St. Joseph on Homecoming and Senior Day.

Meilstrup and the Quakers return to action Tuesday night, traveling to Rose-Hulman for a 7 p.m. match.
