(GREENWOOD, Ind.) - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced their 2025-26 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving teams today, and the Quakers had three athletes honored.
To be considered, you must be a sophomore or higher both academically and athletically and have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (GPA). Athletically, you must have competed in at least 75 percent of your team's competitions or finished in the top-eight at a conference meet or participated in a national championship.
Junior
Jo Pedersen was named on the team for the second straight season. Pedersen was a part of the Quakers All-Conference 800 Yard Freestyle Relay team and finished fourth and fifth in a pair of individual events at the OAC Championships. He is a Business Management major with a minor in Economics.
Sophomore
Parker Basener earned his first career CSC Academic All-District honor. Basener was All-Conference (2nd Place) in the 200 Yard Breaststroke and was a member of the Quakers All-Conference 800 Yard Freestyle Relay team at the OAC Championships. He is an Animal Science major.
Junior
Alaina Reynek was also named CSC Academic All-District for the first time this afternoon. She competed in every meet this season for the Quakers and is a Business Management major with a minor in Economics.
