Marx Named OAC Special Teams Player of the Week

(WESTERVILLE, Ohio) – Wilmington College sophomore kicker and punter Camden Marx has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Special Teams Player of the Week for the first time in his collegiate career following his performance in the Quakers' 42-35 victory over Muskingum University on Saturday. His performance helped Wilmington secure its first OAC victory of the 2026 season.

Marx, a native of Evansville, Indiana, and graduate of Mater Dei High School, connected on both of his field goal attempts in the victory, including a career-long 41-yarder to close out the first half. The sophomore opened his field goal scoring with a successful 29-yard attempt before drilling the 41-yard kick as time expired in the opening half. Marx also converted all four of his extra-point attempts, finishing the afternoon with 10 points in a seven-point Wilmington victory.

In addition to his kicking duties, Marx handled some of the punting responsibilities for the Green and White, recording three punts for an average of 33.3 yards per attempt, including a long of 35 yards.

Marx and the Quakers return to action at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24 at Mount Union.
