Sutton, Cook Win Events Enroute to Second Place Finish at Ohio Northern

(ADA, Ohio) Chloe Sutton and Haley Cook each win an event for the Wilmington Quakers Track and Field team enroute to the team's second place finish at the Joe Banks Invitational in Ada, Ohio on Friday.

Sutton won the 400m Run with a time of 1:10.95 and Cook won the 500m Run with a time of 1:22.81.

Cook and Sutton led the 800m Relay team to a second place finish with Sophia Hardwick and Jaineen Smith, finishing in 1:54.61.

Other placers at Ohio Northern include Amy Myers finishing second in the weight throw (14.89m), Kyla Rush finishing third in both the long jump (4.58m) and triple jump (9.45m), and Mykell Brown finishing third in the weight throw (13.98m).

Quaker throwers took four of the top six position in the weight throw, with Lucy Trout and Kaitlynn Hickey rounding out the top six.

The Quakers will be on the track tomorrow in Springfield, Ohio for the Wittenberg Steemer Showcase.
