PERSONAL: Austin Reed was born March 22, 2003, the son of Heidi and Jason Reed...three-year letterwinner for Head Coach Lori Yaross at St. John's Jesuit High School...multiple-time District qualifier...Honorable Mention All-TRAC...four-time Academic All-TRAC.
Freshman Season (2021-22):
Finished in the consolation final of three individual freestyle events at the OAC Championships...placed third in both the 200-yard (1:45.94) and 500-yard (4:55.43) events while taking fourth in the 100-yard freestyle (48.83 seconds)...swam four Quakers relays.
Junior Season (2023-24):
Competed in eight meets for the Quakers…Swam personal bests in the 50 Yard Freestyle (22.03), 100 Yard Freestyle (47.07), 500 Yard Freestyle (4:47.02), 50 Yard Butterfly (24.76), and 100 Yard Butterfly (54.16)…Competed in the “A” finals of the 200 Yard Freestyle at the OAC Championships…Won the “B” finals of the 500 Yard Freestyle at the OAC Championships, and competed in the “B: finals of the 100 Yard Freestyle at the OAC Championships…Also competed in three relays at the OAC Championships…Was a member of the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay team that set a new program record of 3:06.84…Named Academic All-OAC.
Senior Season (2024-25):
Appeared in all 11 meets this season for the Quakers…Set personal best times in the 50 SC Freestyle (26.13), 100 SC Freestyle (54.41), 200 SC Freestyle (2:02.91), 400 SC Freestyle (4:44.60), 100 Yard Backstroke (55.68), 50 Yard Breaststroke (30.27), 100 Yard Breaststroke (1:04.00), 50 SC Butterfly (27.35), and 200 Yard IM (2:02.44)…Was a part of four program record breaking relay teams alongside Sondre Haugen, John Good, and Jo Pedersen, the 400 Yard Medley Relay (3:23.58), 200 Yard Freestyle Relay (1:24.50), 400 Yard Freestyle Relay (3:05.42), and 800 Yard Freestyle Relay (6:47.66)…Was a part of the Quakers All-OAC 800 Yard Freestyle Relay team (2nd) and 400 Yard Medley Relay team (3rd) at the OAC Championships…Competed in the “B” finals in the 100 Yard Freestyle, 200 Yard Freestyle, and 500 Yard Freestyle at the OAC Championships…Named CSC Academic All-District…Named Academic All-OAC.
