(BEREA, Ohio) – The Wilmington College women's track & field team competed at the Harrison Dillard Twilight meet over the last two days, looking for athletes to improve their regional ranking in events and make a push to qualify nationally.
The best finish of the event went to senior
Lucy Trout, who threw a season best mark of 49.29 meters in the Hammer Throw on her fourth attempt to finish in second place. This throw puts her third in the event in the Great Lakes region.
Freshman
Andria Pollazek cleared 1.56 meters on her final attempt to finish fifth in the High Jump for Wilmington.
Mykell Bowen was sixth in the Discus Throw with a toss of 39.20 meters on her final attempt. Junior
Hayden Setty was seventh in the 400 Meter Dash, crossing the line in 59.14 seconds.
Sophomore
Kyla Rush took eighth in the Triple Jump with a leap of 10.53 meters on her first jump.
Morgan Blair competed in the 800 Meter Run for the first time in her Quakers career, finishing the race in 2:23.68. Freshman
Lillian Dennis had a toss of 35.44 meters on her second attempt in the Discus Throw.
