(WILMINGTON, Ohio) – The Wilmington College women's track & field team won the Bill Kincaid Track & Field Invitational this afternoon with 185 points.
Hayden Setty ran a career best time in the 400 Meter Dash in 58.48 seconds, just edging Indiana East's Mackenzie Rohde, who crossed the line in 58.49 seconds, as they were the only runners to finish in under a minute.
Chloe Lovett won the 400 Meter Hurdles in 1:05.54, while
Sophia Hardwick took second in the event with a career best time of 1:07.46. Hardwick also had a career best time of 16.07 seconds for third place in the 100 Meter Hurdles.
Anna Armstrong won the 3000 Meter Steeplechase in 15:35.01 and
Heather Dutenhaver was second in the event at 15:44.03, as they were season best times for both runners.
Andria Pollazek won the High Jump with a clearance of 1.58m on her first try.
Kaitlynn Hickey won the Shot Put at 11.19 meters on her first throw.
Lillian Dennis took first place in the Discus Throw at 40.13 meters on her fifth toss. She was also third in the Shot Put at 10.55 meters on her second throw.
Amy Myers won the Hammer Throw with a career best toss of 48.46 meters on her fourth toss, while
Mykell Bowen was second at 47.40 meters on her last attempt and
Lucy Trout was third with a mark of 47.36 meters on attempt two. Bowen was also third in the Discus with a mark of 37.65 meters on her last throw.
Hardwick won the Javelin Throw with a mark of 32.68 meters on her third toss while
Leah Brackman hit 27.49 meters on her first throw for second place.
Morgan Blair was second in the 1500 Meter Run in a season best time of 4:53.15 while
Kyla Rush was second in the Triple Jump at 10.52 meters on her fourth jump.
