(WILMINGTON, Ohio) - The Wilmington College women's track & field team swept the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Athletes of the Week honors, as freshmen Morgan Blair and Lillian Dennis received recognition. Blair earned Track Athlete of the Week, while Dennis was named Field Athlete of the Week. 

The freshman duo delivered impressive results at the Otterbein Twilight Meet last weekend. Blair secured second place in the 5000 Meter Run, crossing the line in 17:54.28. The mark was a milestone, as she finished in under 18 minutes for the first time in her collegiate career.  

Dennis highlighted the field events with a massive improvement in the Discus, surpassing her previous season best with a throw of 43.00m. She placed second in the event, with the mark ranking her in the Top 25 in Division III and currently standing as the best throw in the Great Lakes Region. Dennis also added a 10th-place finish in the Shot Put, posting a new season-best mark of 10.78m. 

The Quakers return to action at Williams Stadium on Saturday, hosting the Jenna Strong Invite on Saturday at 11:00 A.M.
