(DELAWARE, Ohio) – The Wilmington College women's track & field team had a great weekend at the All-Ohio Championships, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University. The Quakers finished in sixth place overall with 65 points and had 11 Quakers scoring points individually along with a relay team.
Five Quakers were named All-Ohio with Top-3 finishes in their respective events.
Andria Pollazek won the High Jump for 10 points with a clearance of 1.58m, tying with two other athletes, but she cleared it on the first try for the win.
Mykell Bowen had nine overall points. She was fourth in the Discus Throw with a mark of 38.45m for five points and fifth in the Hammer Throw at 45.37m on her last attempt for four points.
Second place finishers for eight points were
Morgan Blair,
Chloe Lovett, and
Amy Myers. Blair finished in a personal best time of 18:13.07 in the 5,000 Meter Run. Lovett finished the 400 Meter Hurdles in a season best time of 1:05.76, while Myers hit 47.86m in the Hammer Throw.
Kyla Rush had a personal best leap of 10.51m to take third in the Triple Jump.
Lucy Trout was fourth in the Hammer Throw with a toss of 45.54m while
Amber Corll took seventh in the Hammer for two points at 44.20m.
Lillian Dennis was seventh in the Discus Throw with a personal best mark of 36.09m and
Kaitlynn Hickey grabbed one point in eighth place of the Shot Put at 11.15m.
Hayden Setty was fifth in the 400 Meter Dash in a time of 59.57 seconds. She was also a part of the 4x400 Meter Relay team with Rush, Pollazek, and Lovett that took seventh in 4:10.97.
