(ST. LOUIS, Mo./KENNESAW, Ga) – The Wilmington College men's and women's track & field teams had seven individuals in action today at the WashU Distance Carnival in Missouri and the Don McGarey Invitational in Georgia.

At WashU, freshman Morgan Blair and seniors Gabe Moore and Tate Yoder competed in the 10,000 Meter Run. Moore crushed his previous personal best time of 31:49.38 this afternoon, finishing his race in 17th place with a time of 30:55.93. Also cruising to a personal best time was Yoder, who crossed the line in 39th place in a time of 31:36.44. In her collegiate debut outdoors, Blair finished 18th with a time of 38:07.92. All three of these times currently put them in the Top-10 nationally in NCAA Division III.

At Kennesaw State, seniors Amy Myers and Lucy Trout competed alongside junior Mykell Bowen in the Hammer Throw while freshman Larreon Brodie also competed in the event on the men's side. Trout and Brodie finished their days in ninth place. In his debut in the hammer, Brodie hit 53.85 meters on his very first throw and went over 53 meters three times. This puts him in the Top-10 nationally in NCAA Division III.

Trout used a 48.12-meter toss on her third attempt to lead the Quakers. Myers was 12th with a mark of 43.97 meters on throw three while Bowen hit 42.39m for 13th place on her first throw.
