Golan, McGuirt, and Smith Named CSC Academic All-District

(GREENWOOD, Ind.) - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced their 2025-26 Academic All-District Men's Basketball teams today, and the Quakers had three players honored. 

To be considered, you must be a sophomore or higher both academically and athletically and have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (GPA). Athletically, you must have competed in at least 90 percent of your team's games or started at least 66 percent of your team's games. 

Ben Golan is the lone two-time honoree for the Quakers, after being named last season. The junior played in 24 games, making 13 starts, averaging 10.6 points per game. Golan is a High School Education major. 

First time honorees for the Quakers include seniors Zach McGuirt and Jed Smith

McGuirt played in 24 games and made 13 starts for Wilmington. He is a Mathematics major (Data Science) with a minor in Coaching.  

Smith appeared in all 26 games for the Quakers and is an English major.
