(WESTERVILLE, Ohio) – The Ohio Athletic Conference announced their 2025-26 Winter Academic
All-OAC recipients this morning and the Quakers had 20 student-athletes honored, with eight of these athletes being recognized for the first time in their careers.
Academic
All-OAC award winners must be a sophomore or higher in class standing, maintain varsity status and have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50.
The Quakers women's basketball team had the most players honored with seven. Senior
Stephanie Altstaetter and juniors
Olivia Trusty,
Katie Dryer, and
Kaleigh Leadbetter all earned the second Academic All-OAC recognition of their careers. Seniors
Reese Pittman,
Gabby Russell, and sophomore
Sierra McCoin were named Academic All-OAC for the first time.
Men's basketball had six honorees, with three of them earning the third honors of their Quakers careers. These three are seniors
Zach McGuirt,
Collin Barker, and
Jed Smith. Junior
Ben Golan was named for the second time in his career while senior
Mauricio Diaz and sophomore
Tristan Morgan earned the recognition for the first time.
Five men's swimmers were recognized this morning in senior
Sondre Haugen, juniors
Bryce Hensley,
Jo Pedersen, and
Adam Moneypenny, along with sophomore
Parker Basener. Haugen is recognized for the third time while Moneypenny and Pedersen earn their second honors. Hensley and Basener are named for the first time in their Quakers careers.
Junior
Alaina Reynek from women's swimming earned the second Academic All-OAC recognition of her career while sophomore
Ryder Pierce from wrestling earned the first.
