Domenic Farley and Elijah Cathey Earn All-OAC Honors Friday Morning

(WESTERVILLE, Ohio) – The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) announced their 2025-26 All-Conference teams this morning and for the first time since the 2019-20 campaign, the Quakers had two players honored.

The first was senior Domenic Farley on the Second Team and the second was junior Elijah Cathey as an Honorable Mention. This is the second honor of Farley's career, after being an Honorable Mention in 2023-24 and is the first for Cathey.

Farley had a career year for the Quakers, scoring 406 points for Wilmington in 25 games, which was good for fifth in the OAC at the conclusion of Wilmington's season. He scored the 1,000th point of his career in their second to last regular season game at home vs. Muskingum University, becoming the 29th player in program history to do so. He finished with 1,035 career points, which is now 26th in program history.

Farley had 20 games this season with 11 points or more, nine with 20 or more, and two with 31 or more. The last four games of his career, he scored 20 or more points, and he had 20 or more in five of the last six games. To go along with his scoring prowess, he was second on the team with 57 assists and was the leader of the offense that averaged the most points per game in the OAC at 84.

"Domenic has truly had a special career here at Wilmington College! Ending it with second team honors just cements his status as an impact player," said Head Coach Micah Mills. "Dom has been a dream student athlete to coach. He always handled his business on and off the court, welcomed coaching, and grew into being a dynamic day in and day out leader!"

Elijah Cathey had a great all-around season for Wilmington, doing a little bit of everything, as he played in all 26 games with 24 starts. It started with 392 points, which was 10th in the OAC. He had 21 games with 10 or more points and four games with 21 points or more.

His 145 rebounds are good for sixth in the conference, while his 62 assists tied for 10th. He was second on the team with 34 steals and third with 20 blocks. These numbers placed him in a tie for fifth in the conference in blocks and 11th in steals.

"Elijah is a great example of what hard work in the offseason can get you! Elijah earned this all conference recognition in the summer," added Mills. "I challenged him to get his body into elite shape and he accepted it and more. The best thing about Elijah is he's back for his senior year and I know he's going to go back to work!"

Farley and Cathey helped the Quakers make their first OAC Tournament appearance since the 2021-22 season and win their most overall games (11) since 2018-19 and most conference games (7) since 2019-20.
