(TIFFIN, Ohio) - After day one of the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships, the Wilmington College Quakers' women's track and field team sit in sixth place with 21 points.
The Quakers' best result on the day came from Morgan Blair in the Women's 5,000 Run. The freshman came in second place with a time of 18:24.39.
Overall, three Quakers finished in the top ten in the Weight Throw. Lucy Trout finished in sixth, earning three points for her 15.76 mark. Mykell Bowen placed right behind Trout, in seventh place with her mark of 15.62m, setting a new personal best. Amy Myers finished in tenth place with 15.09m mark.
In the 500 Meter Run, Hayden Setty came in fourth place with a new personal best time of 1:19.69.
Kyla Rush came in eleventh place in the 60 Dash Prelims, with a time of 8.18.
The Quakers Distance Medley relay (DMR) team of Setty, Blair, Kyla Begley, Bryauna Bailey finished in sixth place for three points in a time of 13:39.36.

Wilmington will return to competition tomorrow to finish the championship weekend. Field events begin at 10:00 A.M. while track events begin at 2:30 P.M.
