(WILMINGTON, Ohio) - Ben Golan was named the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week this afternoon, markin for the first time in his career.
In the final week of the regular season, Golan was highly efficient for the Quakers, who went 2-0 and clinched the sixth seed in the conference tournament. Golan scored 10 points, while adding two steals, two rebounds, and a block in Wednesday's 81-69 win over Muskingum University. On Senior Day against Baldwin Wallace University, the junior tallied 14 points, grabbed five rebounds, and had one block. Across both contests, Golan shot 67 percent from the field.
Golan and the Quakers will travel to Ohio Northern University on Tuesday night to face the Polar Bears in the OAC Tournament Quarterfinals at 7:00 P.M.
