(NEW CONCORD, Ohio) - Wilmington earns third place at the Muskie Pride Meet on Friday evening behind a pair of first place relay teams and multiple top finishers to earn 106.50 team points.

The Quakers' two relay teams in the 4x200 and 4x400 both earned first place. In the 4x200m Relay, the combination of Kyla Rush, Kyla Begley, Andria Pollazek, and Sophia Hardwick won first place with a time of 1:52.76. For the 4x400m Relay, the team of Hayden Setty, Sophia Hardwick, Begley, and Rush took first place with a time of 4:17.28 

Pollazek also competed in the Women's High Jump and Long Jump. In the high jump, the freshman finished in third place, with a 1.53m mark. She earned fourth place with her 4.64m effort in the long jump. 

Hardwick earned third place in the Women's 60m Hurdles, finishing in 10.46 

Setty set a new PR by winning the Women's 500 Meters in a time of 1:21.23, while Begley finished in second place with a 1:26.45 mark. 

Freshman Morgan Blair won the Women's 1 Mile Run, setting a PR finishing in a time of 5:15.95 to earn 10 points for the Quakers. Blair's time was the fastest mark by any Quaker this year as well. 

Rush finished in fourth place of the Women's 200 Meters in a time of 28.16 

In the Weight Throw, Lucy Trout came in second place, reaching a 16.25m mark on her sixth attempt to set a new PR, gaining eight points for Wilmington. Trout absolutely obliterated her previous PR of 15.22 that she earned last year.

Both Kaitlynn Hickey and Jana Metz placed in the Women's Shot Put. Hickey came in seventh place with a 10.36m mark on her fourth attempt. Metz finished in eighth place, reaching a 10.25m mark on her final go.
