(WESTERVILLE, Ohio) – The Wilmington College women's track & field team competed in the All-Ohio Indoor Championships today at Otterbein University. The Quakers finished in 10th place with 29 team points.
Freshman
Morgan Blair finished third for Wilmington in the 3000 Meter Run with a time of 10:25.71, besting all other Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) competition in the event. This was a season best time for Blair, as she scored six points.
She was a member of the Quakers fifth place Distance Medley Relay (DMR) team that also included junior
Hayden Setty, freshman
Kyla Begley, and freshman
Bryauna Bailey. The team finished in 13:14.68 for four points.
The best overall event for Wilmington was the Weight Throw, where they had two individuals score in seniors
Amy Myers and
Lucy Trout. Myers had a career best mark of 15.94m on her first attempt for fourth place and five points while Trout hit a career best 15.79m on her final toss for fifth place and four points.
Freshman
Andria Pollazek took fourth place in the High Jump with a clearance of 1.53m on her second attempt to earn five team points. Sophomore
Kyla Rush leaped 10.09m on her fourth jump for fourth place and five points in the Triple Jump.

The Quakers travel to Wittenberg University one more time during the indoor season next weekend for the Wittenberg Invite on Saturday at 11:00 A.M.
