Women's Cross Country Looks for Improvement Tomorrow at OAC Championships

(LORAIN, Ohio) – The Wilmington College women's cross country team travels to Lorain, Ohio for the 2026 Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) cross country championships, hosted by Baldwin Wallace University. The women kick off the event, with their 6k set to start at 11:00 A.M.

After returning from an early season injury, sophomore Morgan Blair, who was a Second Team All-OAC selection last year, has been on fire. She has run 6k times of 23:38.1 at the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Challenge and 23:06.3 at the Louisville Cross Country Classic. She also had two Top-15 finishes this season.

Her time of 23:06.3 is not only a career best, but the ninth best individual time in Quakers program history. She looks to lead the charge for the Quakers tomorrow and go for First Team All-OAC honors.

Quakers senior Hayden Setty has ran great for Wilmington this season. She has broken 25 minutes in both her 6k's this season, including a career best time of 24:36.2 at the Louisville Cross Country Classic. She also ran a career best 5k at the Grizzly Invite of 20:34.0.

Freshman Sophia France has impressed in her first season in a Quakers uniform. Her best 6k time is 26:02.9 at the Louisville Cross Country Classic, with both 6k's being well under 27 minutes. She ran the 5k JennaStrong Fall Classic in 21:05.5.

Sophomore DaShae Washington broke the 28-minute 6k barrier for the first time in her career earlier this season, crossing the line in 27:26.1 at the Louisville Cross Country Classic. She also has her best career 5k at the Grizzly Invite in 23:10.5.

Sophomore Addison Naus ran her career best 5k at the JennaStrong Fall Classic in 23:26.5 and also ran a solid 6k of 27:37.7 at the Louisville Cross Country Classic.

Sophomore Heather Dutenhaver and freshman Etta Moore have also been solid for Wilmington this season. After breaking 30 minutes in the 6k one-time last year, Dutenhaver bested her time from last year in the 6k, running a 29:33.6 at the Louisville Cross Country Classic. She also ran a career best 24:14.8 in the 5k at the JennaStrong Fall Classic.

Moore has a 6k best of 30:39.5 this season and bested her first 5k of the season by over two minutes at the JennaStrong Fall Classic, running a 24:34.4.
