(SPRINGFIELD, Ohio) - The Wilmington College women's track & field team finished tied for ninth place at the Steemer Showcase, hosted by Wittenberg University, with 20 points.
Wilmington had an impressive performance in the weight throw with three Quakers placing in the top 10. Senior Lucy Trout earned fifth place with a 15.32m on her fourth attempt. Mykell Bowen placed in seventh with a 14.93m throw. Amy Myers finished in tenth with a 14.07m attempt.
Freshman Andria Pollazek finished fourth in the high jump with a 1.53m mark.
Morgan Blair finished in seventh in the 3000 run with a time of 10:30.45.
The 4x200 relay team, composed of Hayden Setty, Kyla Rush, Kyla Begley, and Sophia Hardwick earned eighth place with a time of 1:52.88.
Setty finished in ninth place of the 800 run but set an indoor personal best of 2:22.12 to earn the Quakers a point.
