(WESTERVILLE, Ohio) - Junior defensive back
Nathan Nemeth was named the Ohio Athletic Conference's (OAC) Football Defensive Player of the Week this afternoon after a game in which he led the Quakers with nine tackles (seven solo, two assists) in a 59-35 win over The College of Wooster at home Saturday night.
Along with these nine tackles, Nemeth picked off the Scots Michael O'Brien on a trick play where the tight end threw the pass. This was the third interception of his Quakers career. Nemeth also had one tackle for loss during the game where he met the Scots receiver on the sideline and drove him back for a loss of a yard.
Wilmington travels to Baldwin Wallace University for a matchup with the Yellow Jackets Saturday afternoon at 1:30 P.M.
