(GREENWOOD, Ind.) The 2024 Academic All-District Football Team was selected and announced by College Sports Communicators (CSC) this afternoon.
CSC, formerly CoSIDA or the College Sports Information Directors of America, has been selecting the Academic All-Americans since the 1952 football season. Athletic communications directors award the Academic All-District and select the Academic All-American selections.
Five football players at Wilmington College were selected for the prestigious honor of Academic All-District, having met the requirements of an unrounded cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 and either playing in 90% of games, or 9 of 10 games, or starting in 67% of games or 7 of 10 games.
Ashton Griffin,
Bryce Hodapp,
Gavan Hunter,
Noah Perry, and
Dallas Rawlings are the student-athletes who have met the requirements.
Griffin is a senior from Irwin, Ohio, majoring in Education – Adolescent/Young Adult Integrated Social Studies and History. He started all 10 games for the Quakers.
Hodapp is a sophomore from Brookville, Ind., majoring in Agricultural Business. He played in all ten games for the Quakers.
Hunter is a sophomore Sport Management major from Wilmington. He started all ten games for the Quakers.
Perry is a senior Agronomy major from Middletown, Ohio. He started all ten games for the Quakers.
Rawlings is a senior Sport Management major who finished his coursework in December. He is from Fairfield, Ohio, and played in nine games for the Quakers.
