Quakers Perform Well at Polar Bear Last Chance

(ADA, Ohio) - Hayden Setty, Chloe Lovett and Haley Cook each run career bests, while Justin Shuga maintains his qualifying position for the NCAA National Championships at the Ohio Northern Polar Bear Last Chance indoor meet in Ada, Ohio on Saturday.

Setty and Cook both ran the 800m with Setty finishing with a 2:24 and Cook a 2:26, finishing top two in their heat. Lovett ran a 61.16 in the 400m.

Shuga matched his OAC Indoor Championship throw distance of 18.55m.

Brady Vilvens jumps 1.96m and Trey Sparks jumps 1.81m in the High Jump.

The Quakers will await the announcements for NCAA National Championship Qualifiers next weekend in Rochester, NY. As of posting, the Quakers will be sending three men and one woman to compete.
