(CEDARVILLE, Ohio) – The Wilmington College women's track & field team opened up their 2025 outdoor season today at the Yellow Jacket Collegiate Open, hosted by Cedarville University. They finished in 18th place with eight team points.
The Quakers had three individuals and one relay team score points. The 4x400 Meter relay team consisting of
Haley Cook,
Hayden Setty,
Chloe Sutton, and
Sophia Hardwick scored four points after finishing in sixth place with a time of 4:16.98.
Chloe Lovett began her collegiate outdoor career with two points in the 400 Meter Hurdles, running a time of 1:06.01 for seventh place.
After competing yesterday in Georgia,
Mykell Bowen and
Lucy Trout were back at it today for the Quakers. Bowen competed in the Discus today and scored a point, finishing in eighth place with a mark of 40.50m on her fifth throw. Trout took eighth in the Hammer Throw with a toss of 48.92m on her fifth attempt, besting her mark from yesterday.
