(RALEIGH, N.C. / KENNESAW, Ga.) – The Wilmington College women's track & field team had four individuals compete today in both North Carolina at the Raleigh Relays and Georgia at the Don McGarey Invitational.
After winning the indoor National Championship in both the 5000- and 3000-Meter Run,
Faith Duncan was back at it in the 10,000 Meter Run tonight to kick off her outdoor season. She competed in the invitational race against all Division I runners, and more than held her own. She crossed the line in a personal best time of 32:57.31, taking ninth place while running the third fastest time in Division III history.
Lucy Trout,
Mykell Bowen, and
Amy Myers all competed for Wilmington at Kennesaw State University in the Hammer Throw. Trout took 12th with a mark of 45.99m on her third throw. Bowen was 13th at 45.78m on her third throw and Myers threw a personal best 45.00m on her third throw.
