McQuillin Earns Second OAC Defensive Player of the Week Honors

(WESTERVILLE, Ohio) - Junior defensive specialist Logan McQuillin was named as the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Women's Volleyball Defensive Athlete of the Week for the second time this season and in her career on Monday afternoon. 

In two matches, McQuillin commanded the defense for the Quakers with 50 digs. McQuillin's 26 digs against Ohio Northern led the Quakers in their first match of the week, and she led the team with 26 digs in the second match at Marietta.  

McQuillin last earned the recognition on September 22nd for the first time in her career. The junior's 428 digs across the season leads Wilmington and ranks in the top 10 in the OAC. McQuillin averages 5.04 digs per set to lead the Quakers. 

Wilmington hosts Oberlin College on Tuesday, November 4th, at 7:00 P.M. The Quakers' final match is on Wednesday, November 5th, at 6:30 P.M. against The College of Wooster.
