(WILMINGTON, Ohio) - Junior defensive specialist Logan McQuillin was selected as the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Women's Volleyball Defensive Athlete of the Week honors for the second consecutive week and the third time in her career on Monday afternoon.
McQuillin directed the Quakers' defense in Wilmington's two matches last week, collecting 27 digs. The junior tied the team lead with nine digs and a service ace in Wilmington's loss Tuesday to Oberlin College. In Wilmington's senior night 3-0 win over The College of Wooster, McQuillin tallied a team high of 19 digs and had another service ace.
The junior last earned the honor on November 3rd. McQuillin's season high of 30 digs came against Washington & Jefferson on October 25th. She ends the season leading the Quakers with 456 digs and averaging 5.01 digs per set. Her 14 service aces were the fourth most on the team.
