Men's Track & Field Wins JennaStrong Track & Field Invitational Saturday in Wilmington

(WILMINGTON, Ohio) – The Wilmington College men's track & field team finished up the JennaStrong Track & Field Invitational this afternoon in Wilmington, winning the event with 179 points.

Junior Donovan Mosley had a great day for the Quakers, winning the 400 Meter Dash with a time of 49.92 seconds. In the 200 Meter Dash, he was fourth at 23.10 seconds.

Junior Bryson Robinette won the other event for the Quakers in the 5000 Meter Run. He finished under 17 minutes for the second straight weekend, running a time of 16:57.33 to win by almost three seconds.

Larreon Brodie finished second in the Hammer Throw at 51.94m and third in the Discus Throw with a personal best mark of 40.02m.

Junior Carson Miles finished the High Jump in second place with a clearance of 1.87m after just missing out at 1.92m. He also took third in the Long Jump with a leap of 6.26m.

Senior Tate Yoder ran a career best time of 4:03.18 in the 1500 Meter Run while freshman Blake Midlam was second in the Shot Put with a season best mark of 13.66m.

Griffin Roell, Cameron Adkins, Samuel Scott, Trey Sparks, and Elijah Newman all had third place finishes for Wilmington. Newman was third in the Shot Put at 13.15m and had a career best toss of 39.28m in the Discus Throw for fifth place.

Roell was third in the 800 Meter Run, finishing under two minutes in 1:59.89. Adkins took third at 17:02.99 in the 5000 Meter Run. Trey Sparks cleared 1.82m to take third in the High Jump while Scott had a career best throw in the Javelin at 39.56m.

Brendan Bornemann was fourth in the 400 Meter Dash with a time of 51.81 seconds, Carson McDowell cleared 1.77m for fourth in the High Jump, and Gustav Jonsson had a mark of 39.48m in the Discus Throw.

Darryl Story ran an 11.23 to take fifth in the 100 Meter Dash, Keegan Kidd ran a 2:02.35 for fifth in the 800 Meter Run, and Gabe Moore ran a career best 4:11.85 in the 1500 Meter Run for fifth. Freshman Simeon Williamson took sixth at 4:17.92 in the 1500 Meter Run.

Henry Hildebrandt was sixth in the 5000 Meter Run at 17:16.02.

What's Up Next
The Quakers are in Delaware, Ohio next Friday and Saturday for the All-Ohio Championship, hosted at Ohio Wesleyan University.
