(CINCINNATI, Ohio) – The Wilmington College men's track and field team was at Mount St. Joseph University today for the MSJ Alumni Open, where they finished in second place out of nine teams with 103 points.
The Quakers had a pair of second place finishers in
Tate Yoder and
Donovan Mosley. Yoder ran a 4:27.63 in the Mile while Mosley ran an indoor personal best in the 400 Meter Dash of 51.51 seconds and was just bested by the winner at 51.21 seconds.
Mosley also teamed up with
De'Anta Sanon, Darryl Story, and
Samuel McEntire to finish second in the 4x200 Meter Relay in 1:32.01 while Mount St. Joseph finished just ahead in 1:31.96.
Elijah Newman finished third in the Shot Put at 13.49m on his final toss.
Both
De'Anta Sanon and Darryl Story placed in the 60 Meter Dash with Sanon in fourth at 7.01 seconds and Story just behind him in fifth at 7.04 seconds.
Gabe Moore finished fifth in the Mile at 4:38.51 to just miss out on an indoor personal best. Also taking home fifth place finishes were
Samuel McEntire and
Blake Midlam. McEntire had a season best Long Jump of 6.00m on his very first leap while Midlam had his season best in the Shot Put of 12.48m on his fourth toss.
Simeon Williamson had a seventh-place personal best finish at 15:57.49 in the 5000 Meter Run while
Neka Bukasa finished the event in eighth at 16:27.23 in his Quakers debut.
Brandon Mitchell had a career best in the Weight Throw, taking home seventh place at 13.82m on his third attempt.
Griffin Roell was eighth in the 400 Meter Dash in his collegiate debut in the event, finishing in 53.03 seconds.

The Quakers are in Westerville, Ohio next Saturday in the All-Ohio Indoor Championships, hosted at Otterbein University.
