(TIFFIN, Ohio) – The Wilmington College men's track & field team completed day one of the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships, hosted at Heidelberg University, in sixth place with 22 points.
Senior
Gabe Moore led the way for Wilmington on day one, winning the first OAC Championship of his career to score 10 points for the Quakers. He took the title in the 5000 Meter Run, with a time of 15:02.38, which bested the University of Mount Union's Stephen Ulrich by over seven seconds. This is the fourth year in a row that a Quaker has won this event, with
Simon Heys winning in 2023 and 2024 and
Noah Tobin taking the title in 2025.
Quakers freshman
Larreon Brodie took third place for Wilmington in the Weight Throw and earned All-Conference honors for the first time in his career. He finished with a mark of 17.44m, which he hit on his third toss of the day. He earned the Quakers six team points.

Keegan Kidd, junior
Brendan Bornemann, freshman
Griffin Roell, and senior
Tate Yoder finished in fifth place for four points with a season best time of 10:29.65.
Wilmington had two other scorers in junior
Donovan Mosley and
Griffin Roell. Mosley ran a personal best time in the 400 Meter Dash of 50.80 seconds to finish in eighth place for one point. Roell ran a season best time in the 500 Meter Dash of 1:07.05 for eighth place and one point.
Senior
Darryl Story broke the seven second mark in the 60 Yard Dash for the first time this season, running a personal best time of 6.99 seconds to finish in ninth.
