Senior Stephanie Altstaetter Named Second Team All-OAC Wednesday Morning

(WESTERVILLE, Ohio) - The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) announced its 2025-26 Women's Basketball All Conference teams this morning, honoring senior Stephanie Altstaetter with Second Team recognition.

Altstaetter was named All-OAC for the first time in her career after a historic season for the Quakers. The senior started all 25 games for Wilmington, leading the team in scoring with 357 points, 200 rebounds, 28 blocks, and 118 field goals made. In the conference, Altstaetter averaged the fourth most points per game with 14.3 and her 200 rebounds along with 28 blocks were third. At the charity stripe, she shot 71.2 percent, finishing fifth in the conference. Her 109 made free throws this season are 10th most in a single season in program history.

The center's 37-point performance against Muskingum University on January 14th led the conference in individual scoring performances this season. This performance ranked fifth in Wilmington women's basketball single-game history, marking the program's first game of that caliber since the 2008-09 campaign.

Altstaetter had eight double-doubles this season. She scored 10 plus points in nineteen games and 20 plus in four games. The senior had nine games with 10 plus rebounds and eight games with two plus blocks. She set a career high 17 rebounds against Eureka College on November 22nd.

She was also named OAC Player of the Week for the first time in her career on January 19th. Overall, Altstaetter finishes her career with 803 points, 471 rebounds, 74 assists, 64 blocks, and 47 steals across 71 games and 67 starts.
