Four From Women's Basketball Earn CSC Academic All-District Recognition

(GREENWOOD, Ind.) - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced their 2025 Academic All-District Women's Basketball teams today, and the Quakers had four players honored.

To be considered, you must be a sophomore or higher both academically and athletically and have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (GPA). Athletically, you must have competed in at least 90 percent of your team's games or started at least 66 percent of your team's games.

Stephanie Altstaetter Russell and Gabby Russell each earned their second honors of their career. Altstaetter started all 25 games, averaging a team-high 14.3 points and 8.0 rebounds per game. The Second Team All-OAC center is an Agricultural Business major with a minor in Accounting.

Russell started all 25 games for the Quakers, averaging 11.1 points. The senior guard is an Accounting and Finance double major.

Junior forward Olivia Trusty and sophomore guard Sierra McCoin were both first time honorees. Trusty played in all 25 games and made 16 starts for Wilmington. She is a Primary Education (Intervention Specialist) major.

McCoin appeared in all 25 games, making 23 starts for the Quakers and averaged 8.7 points per game. She is a Business Finance major with a minor in Communication Arts.
