(AKRON, Ohio) – The Wilmington College women's swimming team completed day two at the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Championships tonight in a tie for fourth place with 123 points.

Sydney Overmyer competed in A finals tonight for Wilmington while junior
Alaina Reynek and senior
Makenna Garn were in B finals.
After a 2:19.35 in the prelims this morning, Kuetemeyer shaved over a second off her time in the finals of the 200 Yard IM at 2:18.09 to finish in fifth place. This was the best finish of the night for Wilmington.
Garn took ninth in the event, winning the B final by over three seconds in a time of 2:20.39 after a 2:24.32 in the prelims. Her finals time would have beaten one competitor in the A finals.
In the 500 Yard Freestyle, Overmyer qualified for the A finals in a time of 5:35.77. The finals saw her swim a time of 5:47.33 for eighth place. Reynek finished in 16th, touching the wall in 6:08.86.
