(WESTERVILLE, Ohio) – The Wilmington College men's track & field team scored 50.5 team points today en route to a sixth place team finish at the All-Ohio Indoor Championships, hosted at Otterbein University in the Rike Center.
The Quakers had one win during the day for 10 points. It came in the Distance Medley Relay (DMR), which consisted of juniors
Keegan Kidd and
Brendan Bornemann, freshman
Griffin Roell, and senior
Tate Yoder. They won in a time of 10:35.53, just outlasting Otterbein's 10:36.98, as the top two teams won by nearly nine seconds each.
Wilmington also had success in the 4x400 Meter Relay and the 4x200 Meter Relay. In the 4x400 Relay, junior
Donovan Mosley, Bornemann, Roell, and senior
Darryl Story finished in fourth place for five team points in a time of 3:28.78, just behind Denison University's 3:28.53.

Samuel McEntire crossed the line in 1:32.72 during the 4x200 Relay for sixth place and three points. Otterbein just finished ahead of them in 1:32.53.
Senior
Gabe Moore took second for eight points in the 5000 Meter Run at 15:03.56. Otterbein's Payne Ratliff just beat him with a time of 15:03.01, while no runner after Moore finished until 15:28.22.
Both freshman
Larreon Brodie and junior
Donovan Mosley had third place finishes during the day for a total of 12 team points. Brodie hit 16.51m in the Weight Throw on his final attempt for third place while Mosley ran a new indoor personal best time in the 400 Meter Dash of 51.11 seconds for third place in the event. Denison's Jack Meyerowitz finished just ahead of Mosley in 51.10 seconds as the top six runners finished in under 52 seconds.
Seniors
De'Anta Sanon and
Darryl Story scored in the 60 Meter Dash. The two ran times of 7.07 seconds to qualify for the finals before Sanon took fifth in 7.00 seconds for four points and Story was seventh in 7.08 seconds for two points.
Senior
Tate Yoder was fifth in the 3000 Meter Run at 8:51.29 for four points. Sophomore
Trey Sparks tied for sixth in the High Jump for 2.5 points. He cleared 1.85m on his first attempt.
