Stephanie Altstaetter Named OAC Athlete of the Week for First Time in her Career Monday

(WILMINGTON, Ohio) - Senior center Stephanie Altstaetter named the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week this afternoon for the first time in her career.

Altstaetter had one of the greatest Wilmington College Women's Basketball single game performances in the Quakers' 86-76 win over Muskingum University on Wednesday night. Against the Muskies, Altstaetter recorded a career-high 37 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for her sixth double-double of the season. Her 37 points rank fifth in Wilmington women's basketball single-game history, marking the program's first performance of that caliber since the 2008–09 season. She added three assists, two blocks, and a steal in the win.

The senior scored eight points, collected 11 rebounds, dished out two assists, and had one steal in Wilmington's loss to Baldwin Wallace on Saturday.

On the season, Altstaetter averages a team-high 14.2 points per game and 8.8 rebounds per game, while leading the Quakers with 14 blocks and 78 field goals made.

Wilmington travels to Otterbein University on Wednesday at 7:00 P.M.
