(WESTERVILLE, Ohio) – The Wilmington College women's cross country team competed in the Otterbein Invitational Saturday morning, hosted by Otterbein University at the Lehman Cross Country Course. They finished in 13th place with a score of 327 in a 6k race.
Competing in her first ever collegiate 6k, freshman
Morgan Blair took 37th place with a time of 24:38.6 to lead the Quakers. Junior
Hayden Setty finished in 67th at 25:44.8 while freshman
Avery Vance also finished in the Top-100 at 90th in a time of 27:02.7.
The final two scorers for Wilmington were freshmen
Anna Armstrong and
DaShae Washington. Armstrong finished with a time of 28:49.5 and Washington crossed the line in 30:07.8.
What's Up Next
After their first 6k race of the season, the Quakers look for improvement next Friday, September 19th, where they travel to Cedarville University to compete in the All-Ohio Classic beginning at 6:00 P.M.
