Women's Cross Country Continues to Improve as they Compete in Louisville Saturday

(LOUISVILLE, Ky.) – The Quakers women's cross country team competed in the Louisville Cross Country Classic Saturday afternoon in Kentucky in the 6k Blue Division, where they finished in 46th place at 1360.

Continuing to lead Wilmington in her freshman season is Morgan Blair, who got around the course in 24:47.4 for 196th place. Junior Hayden Setty finished in 25:45.0, which nearly matches her top time of the season at the Otterbein Invitational a few weeks ago, where she finished in 25:44.8.

Avery Vance bested her time from a few weeks ago, crossing the line in 27:18.0, with her best time of the season coming at Otterbein in 27:02.7.

The final two Quakers placers were Anna Armstrong and Addison Naus. Armstrong just broke the 29-minute mark at 28:59.5 while Naus came in at 29:34.3.

What's Up Next
The Quakers will host the JennaStrong Fall Classic on their home course Friday, October 17th with a late afternoon start time of 4:30 P.M.
