(GREENWOOD, Ind.) – The College Sports Communicators (CSC), formerly known as the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), announced their Women's Swimming Academic All-District teams this afternoon and the Quakers had three swimmers honored.
To be eligible, you must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have at least a 3.50 GPA, and must have competed in five competitions or finished in the top-eight at a conference meet.
Seniors
Shannon O'Boyle and
Adrienne Reynek along with sophomore
Sophia Mignery were all honored for the first time in their careers. O'Boyle and Mignery were also named Academic-All Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) a few weeks ago.
O'Boyle and Reynek both competed at the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Championships this season in the 200 Yard Freestyle, 1650 Yard Freestyle, and 500 Yard Freestyle. O'Boyle is a Psychology major while Reynek majors in Pre-Physical Therapy.
Mignery swam in the B finals at the OAC championships in the 100 Yard Breaststroke and 200 Yard Breaststroke. She majors in Agriculture with a concentration in Agricultural Business.
